After years of hard work, extensive searches, many disappointments and lots of waiting, we were finally blessed with an HP unit and will be moving at the end of the month. Most importantly, we're going to remain on the North Shore, as I just wouldn't dream of leaving the area we love so much. We can't wait for our happily ever after to begin and in a twist of fate, we can no longer say "we're not from Ipswich" anymore.
Packing and all that entails has kept us pretty busy. Our pictures and travels are only a few this month as well. Grammy started a supervised day program 2 days a week, to help give Grampy a break. Getting her up and out the door was like wrestling a Grizzly Bear, but she was fine once she got there playing and winning Bingo, the for the first time since the pandemic and going to chemo. She even knew a person that worked with her mother back in the days when Zayer's existed. (it then became an Ames and it's now a Shaw's)
My knee injury has been very slow to improve, but doing better, it seems to have finally unlocked and my range of motion has improved. Hopefully we'll be able to get out more and go further and farther as time goes along and finish the unpacking process.
Sven's allergies have returned despite our best efforts to sort it out. After we finish unpacking, we're going to commence making his own food from home and see how it goes.
Our pictures below include a soft serve thin mint snack with Grammy at Wendy's, Breakfast with Grampy at Brothers Deli. Sorry, they're all pictures of the back of Sven's head.
It's 77*f outside, the property mgr. here hasn't shut the heat off, so it's a blistering 88*f in our unit, impossible to work on packing in these conditions, so we're off to Home Depot for some more bubble wrap and a few doorstops. Maybe we'll see you there!
