December - a month to remember

We survived another holiday season. It was full of excitement when just two days before Christmas our upstairs neighbor flooded the bathroom for the second time in eight months. That cleaned up and waiting on repairs we pressed on with the dinner celebrations. Grammy & Grampy were delighted to see the ornaments and trees in our bay window. Grammy has dementia, so we are not sure how many more holidays or memories we'll be able share together or that she'll remember, so we just try to make each outing enjoyable. This year it included a trip to visit Santa Paws, where Grammy was a real hot ticket trying to block people from cutting across the line just to sneak a pet or a pat with Sven. He had his do not pet vest on and was working hard at sit & wait and doing a great job in a line of dogs front and back of him all struggling to do the same. We also had a pizza luncheon where they both posed in front of a holiday tree for photos. It's been a bit cooler than usual, and we got a nice dusting of snow for the holidays as well. Looking forward to the new year.
