This was a hard month for us. It went by really fast, and I was still experiencing the worst exhaustion ever, I have several ailments that could cause it, but I suspect it could be thyroid troubles, so we’ll have to look into it more. To make matters worse just went I thought I was finally done with paperwork for a while my health insurance was temporarily suspended, and we got sideswiped by a road-rage driver trying to push us out of our lane and into oncoming traffic. And now it's annual Part D enrollment time where you have to shop around for the right plan for the next year Ugh. I barely have energy for shipping lists.

Fortunately, I prevailed in my court appeal, and my insurance was reinstated. They called it a federal administrative glitch due to new laws; I called it an untimely mean ass shakedown. I had a new PCP set up for an appointment, we had to postpone, and it set us back months because they’re booked over 6 months out from now. I need referrals to be seen for several things much sooner so not sure how that will get worked out just yet. The to-do list keeps growing. Luckily after several booking attempts I was able to at least get 4 out of 5 vaccine updates at the local pharmacy.

Sven is doing quite well on the new heartworm medication Interceptor and is continuing to improve, his allergic skin condition is almost cleared up, just taking a long time for the fur to regrow. Seems otherwise fine, no tummy upsets, no vomiting, no diarrhea as of yet so that’s all a very good sign we’re on the right path with that finally. We're looking forward to the first frost of the season to do away with the rest of the outdoor allergens.

We experienced another incident of road rage, and ended up getting sideswiped on the right side of the car fender & doors. I was pretty miffed, there are no passing laws, obstruction laws and yield laws, but because it’s no-fault insurance in Massachusetts, leaving me to pay the deductible for the other person’s mistakes. Thankfully, it’s only cosmetic, no real damage, car is still drivable and most importantly, neither myself or Sven got hurt. Phew!

Just ordered the final pieces for Sven’s Halloween costume this year, hopefully Walmart Vendor ships them in time Oct 20th is cutting it close. He’s going as Dusty Hill from ZZ Top.

Below are a few pictures from our travels this month. Went to Gloucester for shots but they ended up not having them in stock, went holiday shopping with Grammy trying to get ahead of the crowds this year, took Grammy to Lunch while Gramps had appointments.
